Keohane’s is a family owned and run business established in 2012. John Keohane and his wife Rosaleen opened their first Funeral home in the city centre in 2012 and operated out of this location for the first four years, after noticing a gap in the north side of the city he decided to open a second funeral home in Mayfield where the area did not have this service available in their local community. Converting what was an AIB Bank on the Old Youghal Road, he opened the doors to his second location in 2016. With both their sons Peter and Sean having a hands on involvement and daughter Mary recently joining the business, Keohane’s endeavour to meet all families with kindness and consideration at such a difficult time.

We strive to provide a personal and compassionate service to the people of this community and all of Cork. We are committed to going the extra mile for all families so that they can create a fitting tribute to their loved one.
